Created during a residency at North Lands Creative, it was important for me to produce work in response to and influenced by my surroundings. Inspiration was taken from the rocks and layering obscured beneath the rising tides on the various shorelines I visited.
The work utilises blown glass fragments that are then fused down into a solid glass block.
This series is currently being developed and further evolved so new works will hopefully be revealed soon.
